​Born in 1998 and raised between Tyler, Jacksonville (Texas), and the deep musical heritage of his family, Collin discovered music through rap in 2018.

What began as self-recorded mixtapes quickly evolved into a profound transformation: a multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, and storyteller shaped by blues, funk, soul, reggae, gospel, and Texas culture.

​​A MUSICAL EVOLUTION (2018–NOW)

​

Collin’s career began in 2018 performing at locally packed shows he organized himself as well as local open mic events. After surviving a tragic shooting which claimed a friend’s life and altered the path of everyone involved — Collin redirected his art toward purpose, healing, and meaning.

​

Across 10 projects and 100+ released songs, he mixed, mastered, engineered, and produced every vocal of his own career, becoming a one-man creative engine. His 2020 album If I Die Young marked the beginning of a deeper musical awakening.

​

By 2024–2025, Collin experienced a personal renaissance. Inspired by the biopics of James Brown, Ray Charles, Elvis Presley, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jimi Hendrix, and Bob Marley, he expanded beyond rap into live musicianship.

EDUCATION & PROFESSIONAL WORK

Collin earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Audio Production from Full Sail University in October 2024.

Now, he serves as a Music Therapy Technician IV at Lufkin State Supported Living Center, where he leads the entire Music Department.

​

His grandmother’s record collection exposed him to Aretha Franklin, Parliament, Rick James, Teena Marie, the Isley Brothers, Quincy Jones, and Michael Jackson.

These influences live inside his music, tones, cadences, and heartfelt songwriting.

Every song is a chapter in an ongoing transformation — one that Collin shares openly with his audience.
