The Rising Man Era (2024–Present) 

The Rising Man Era marks the moment where everything began to align — not through momentum, but through clarity.

After a year of isolation, reflection, and inward recalibration, the next step did not come from pressure to return. It came from necessity. During the final stage of my degree at Full Sail University in 2024, I was required to create a song as part of my final project. What began as a single assignment quickly expanded into something much larger.

Instead of one record, I created five.

Each song explored a different direction — lyrically, sonically, and emotionally. There was no intention of building a project at first. The goal was simply to complete the requirement. But through the process, something became clear: the work was no longer fragmented. It was focused. The sound was no longer reactive. It was intentional.

Working alongside my instructor, we reviewed the records and selected the strongest piece — not just technically, but emotionally and artistically. That selection became the foundation for Rising Man.

The title was not created for branding. It was descriptive.

It reflected the transition taking place in real time.

A Graduation, Not Just Academically

This era is directly tied to a major life milestone: graduating in 2024 with a bachelor’s degree in Audio Production from Full Sail University.

The degree marked more than completion of a program. It represented years of discipline, trial, error, and self-investment finally consolidating into structure. What had once been instinct and survival became understanding.

The question was no longer how to make music.

It became how to live as a musician.

From Artist to Application

In 2025, that understanding extended beyond personal work into professional impact.

I stepped into a role as a Music Therapy Technician IV at Lufkin State Supported Living Center, where music became more than expression — it became function.

Sessions, programs, and structured interventions replaced unstructured creation. Sound became a tool for engagement, regulation, and connection. Music moved from internal processing to external service.

This shift reinforced something essential:

Music is not just something I make.
It is something I apply.

The Evolution of Sound

The Rising Man Era is defined by a clear evolution — from rapper to musician.

During this time, the creative process expanded in multiple directions:

• Guitar became a daily practice, not a side skill

• Singing became integrated into the core sound

• Recording shifted toward intentional tone, space, and quality

• Collaboration with musicians began to replace isolated creation

• Music was studied, not just produced

This was not a stylistic change for experimentation.

It was a return to fundamentals.

Influences expanded beyond hip-hop into blues, soul, rock, and live instrumentation. The goal shifted from creating tracks to building songs — pieces that could exist beyond the studio and be performed, interpreted, and lived.

Building the Next Chapter

The foundation established through Rising Man is already shaping what comes next.

New material is being written with a stronger emphasis on:

• live instrumentation

• guitar-driven arrangements

• emotional depth and vocal presence

• genre fusion rooted in Texas identity

Recording sessions are more intentional. Practice is more disciplined. Collaboration is more selective. The process is slower — but more precise.

This era is not about output volume.

It is about alignment.

The Rising Man Era is not defined by a single release.

It is defined by transition:

• from survival to structure

• from output to intention

• from artist to musician

• from expression to purpose

It represents the moment where everything learned across previous eras — emergence, survival, brotherhood, expansion, and reflection — finally converged into direction.

Not forced.

Chosen.

Era Meaning

The Rising Man Era represents transformation through alignment. It is the period where craft, identity, and purpose began to move in the same direction — resulting in a more intentional, disciplined, and musically grounded approach to creation.

Rather than chasing momentum, this era builds foundation. It shifts the focus from making music to becoming a musician, setting the stage for a body of work defined not by urgency, but by clarity and longevity.
